Electric Victorian Lamp Instructions
The Victorian lamp by American Gas Lamp Works is a blend of European heritage and American design, drawing inspiration from classic Victorian street lighting. Standing at 35 inches tall, this gas or electric lamp serves as a transitional piece between large estate lamps and smaller residential-sized lamps. It is particularly well-suited for historic restoration projects.
The lamp is made of sand-cast aluminum. Customers have the option to choose the type of globe, which is available in clear glass, milk glass, or polycarbonate. The top dome can be selected in milk glass or spun aluminum.
In terms of illumination, the Victorian lamp offers multiple options. GasGlow® technology uses LED light fixtures that mimic the look, color, and intensity of natural gas mantle lighting. An electric socket line is also available for LED and traditional light bulbs. Natural gas or propane burners use artificial silk or rayon fabric bags called mantles for a more authentic feel. Open Flame Burners are another option, offering a variety of charming shaped flames.
The Victorian lamp also provides a range of installation options to suit different settings. It can be mounted on a post, wall, or pier, offering flexibility for both residential and commercial spaces. This makes the Victorian lamp not just a source of light, but also a statement piece that enhances any environment by bringing the aesthetic and timeless appeal of Victorian street lighting.
